The Purpose of My Blog

Thank you for taking the time to visit my blog.  My name is Zachary Carrigan.  I graduated from Vanguard University and I hope to one day become a pastor or a missionary.  I am currently finishing a Masters Degree in Christian Leadership.   Since accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior I have looked for ways to serve and to grow in Christ.  I served for several years as the Youth Pastor at my local Assemblies of God Church.  It as during this time that I felt led to a vocation serving the Lord.  I spend much of my time reading the bible and I have also found a strong key to my growth in observing the lives of other Christian who have climbed to great heights. 

I began this blog with the purpose of sharing these insights with you and as a way of staying engaged in an effort to learn from the walks others have with the Lord.  It is my hope that you will enjoy reading my post about the lives of great Christian men and women and gain both insight and inspiration from them.  May God bless each of you and I pray you will stay dedicated and finish the race.
